5K RUN / WALK

Start Time :

• 11:00 a.m. – 5K for runners and walkers
• 12:00 p.m. - Kids Fun Run for youth ages 10 and younger

Course:

• The Earth Day in the Junction 5K course starts and finishes in the 200 block of 5th Street, in Historic Valley Junction. The 3.1 mile route includes Holiday Park.

• The Kids Fun Run will take place in the 200 block on 5th Street, in Historic Valley Junction.

• After-care for the run will be provided by Millennium Therapy.

Registration Fees:

• Earth Day in the Junction 5K -

               $20 registration by Sunday, April 8, 2012

               $25 registration April 9th through race day, April 22, 2012

• Kids Fun Run -

                $10 - kids ages 10 and younger

In the spirit of Earth Day, all participants who have registered on or before Sunday, April 8, 2012 are guaranteed an Earth Day in the Junction organic cotton t-shirt.  All participants will receive a reusable water bottle at the finish line.

NW corner of 5th & Maple in Valley Junction

Cost is $25 if registering after Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Awards: 
• A $50 gift certificate to Fitness Sports will be awarded for the overall male and female finisher of the 5k run.

• The top two male and female finishers in each of the ten-year-deep age groups (younger than 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over) will be awarded gift certificates to the shops in Historic Valley Junction.
